The AnttifySport aluminum bike kickstand is a single-leg side stand built for the 22, 24, 26 inch and 700C wheel sizes that cover almost every adult MTB, road, hybrid, commuter and city frame. It bolts to the standard chainstay mounting plate already welded to most modern frames — the same plate most bikes came with from the factory. Slide the lower leg out to match the wheel size, tighten the locking bolt with the included hex wrench, and the bike parks itself on pavement, gravel, grass or uneven ground without leaning on a wall or falling into a stranger’s garden hedge.

The aluminum alloy is where the value lives. The same corrosion-resistant alloy that holds up to rain-soaked commutes and damp garage storage also keeps the weight down — the kickstand adds roughly 250 grams to the bike, which is a fair trade for a stable parking platform that works on the surfaces a wall never reaches. The finish is a clean matte black that matches the frame hardware on most modern bikes and does not call attention to itself on the trailhead or the office bike rack.

Adjustment is the headline. The lower leg slides up and down inside the upper bracket to match the wheel size and the rider’s geometry — short for a 24 inch kid’s MTB, long for a 700C road or hybrid, longer still for a full-size 29er-converted-to-700C commuter. A single locking bolt clamps the leg in place with one of the included hex wrenches; once locked, the leg does not drift down on rough ground. The whole adjust-and-tighten process takes about two minutes, and the same two hex wrenches are included in the box, so there is no second trip to the hardware store.

The wide rubber foot is what keeps the bike upright when the surface is not a flat showroom floor. The non-slip base grips pavement, holds on gravel, plants firmly on grass, and stays planted on uneven pavement outside the coffee shop. The foot is wide enough that a fully loaded 700C commuter with a rear rack and panniers does not tip over the stand when the rider steps off.
